Things are Heating Up in 2nd Quarter with the SLG2, Inc Elevate Tour

Read SLG2, INC 2nd Quarter Report

In the 2nd Quarter of 2024, we continued to see record attendance with just under 1,500 guests who signed in to the Shoot Like A Girl and Safe LivinG experiences.  This quarter, we were in Grand Prairie, Texas, for the Bass Pro Shops Grand Opening, while surviving a heat index over 120 degrees, we had 436 guest. We also attended a new venue, with a different demographic of guests than our normal events.  What goes with fashion, hair, makeup, and cupcakes of the Ultimate Atlanta Women’s Expo?  We do,  the Safe LivinG experience was a huge hit with firearms, pepper spray, concealed carry bags, holsters and hunting!

Additionally, we had the great fortune to be on the show floor of the National Rifle Associations Annual Meeting expo.  We love being able to meet with many of our partners and show them the experience that their marketing dollars are giving people across the country.  This was an especially special occasion, as I was honored to receive the NRA’s Golden Bullseye Award for Woman of the Year.  It is very nice to be recognized for the incredible impact our team is making in the industry, but also to be complimented on my professionalism, dedication and determination to bring shooting sports to everyone.  These are not traits that happened naturally, I have so many people I am thankful for in helping me on this journey.  Of course, Spring came with an awesome Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s Club VIP Experience, where we hosted an amazing group of ladies for an epic turkey hunt in Oklahoma.

The Excellence in Safety Award is created to recognize companies that go the extra mile in creating safe products and promoting safety. 2nd Quarter’s award for 2024 will go to Smith & Wesson. They show their commitment to firearm safety through their video series GUNSMARTs and many other initiatives.

We have a very ambitious schedule in 3rd quarter with nine events scheduled across the United States. I am so thankful for our partners’ marketing investments in Shoot Like A Girl that enables our team to “Change Lives, One Shot at a Time”!

Sincerely,

Karen
