Tina Hopson – Helping People Find Their A-Ha Moment

How and/or Why did you get started in shooting sports?

When I started dating my now husband, he invited me to go dove hunting. I really enjoyed it and participated up until my first child was born. We didn’t shoot much more on a regular basis until 2017 when I joined the Well Armed Woman. At that point I really began to enjoy pistol shooting and became an instructor. The rest is history.

Why are you passionate about working for SLG2:

My passion is helping women become their own personal protector. Working with SLG2 allows me to not only help women but also help men in a relaxed non-intimidating atmosphere. I love to watch people find their a-ha moment and the joy they show makes it all worthwhile.

When not shooting, what do you love to do:

I really love shooting. In our free time, my husband and I shoot competitively. I do also enjoy spending time with my adult children and my grandchildren, gardening, reading, fishing.
