TBuzz – An Inspiring Leader Empowering People with Safety

TBuzz has been a Pro Staff Certified Firearms Instructor and Member of the Safety Council since 2021. 

How and/or why did you get started in shooting sports?

I started in shooting sports in 2015, after attending the Citizens Police Academy. I decided to purchase a firearm for personal protection and sought training to become a safe and responsible firearms owner. I joined a women’s shooting organization to expand my knowledge about personal protection and safe handling of firearms. It was through this experience that I decided to become a Certified Instructor, with a goal to help train others who also wanted to become responsible self-protectors. My primary target market was women, as I felt my story would resonate with other women who wanted or needed to be protect themselves and their family members. 

Why are you passionate about working for SLG2: 

I am passionate about working for SLG2 because I am able to contribute to the mission of building confidence in women and helping to plant seeds regarding safety and respect of firearms, through this empowering work. Our impactful reach across the country is critical in spreading the all-important message of firearm safety and responsibility, which is why I became a Firearm Instructor years ago. To witness the empowering confidence, when a guest experiences the Shoot Like A Girl and Safe LivinG trailers and staff, is gratifying and fulfilling, as an instructor. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of an amazing team of passionate and professional women. 

When not shooting, what do you love to do: 

When I am not shooting, I love teaching personal safety classes throughout my community. I believe in community service and serve on the Public Safety Citizen Advisory Board and the Board of Ethics. I also enjoy networking, traveling, volunteerism, and baking.
