Jan Martin Passionate Instructor Helping Empower People with Confidence

Jan Martin has been on the SLG2 team of contracted instructors since 2023.

How and/or why did you get started in shooting sports?

I became interested in shooting sports when I first took my License to Carry class. From that time on, I learned how to shoot rifles, shotguns and do competitions as well as self defense. I wanted to learn how to be my own first responder if ever needed.

Why are you passionate about working with SLG2, Inc?

I have a passion for introducing other ladies to the shooting sports for not only self defense, but to help grow their self-esteem and confidence. To see them become empowered in something they didn’t was possible for them.

When not shooting, what do you like to do?

I enjoy traveling, hiking, gardening, bird watching, music – just about anything outdoors.
