Archery Pro Tip – By Debi Martin

You should always keep great form when shooting archery; especially when shooting up or down hill.  Something as simple as forgetting your form will leave you chasing your arrow and making many unnecessary adjustments.  Keeping that “T” formation is crucial for hunting as well as recreational shooting.

When shooting uphill or downhill you should bend at the waist and not just bend your arms toward the target.  This will allow you to make that perfect shot without compromising your form.  So, if you archers are out hunting this season and in an elevated stand, remember to bend at the waist.  Be sure to practice before hitting the woods.  Happy hunting to you all!
