Shoot Like a Girl is committed to increasing the number of women in the sport and discipline of archery through their Test Flights.  According to the National Shooting Sports Foundation, over the past 5 years, the number of women participants in shooting sports has increased by 172%; yet the ratio of women to men is still disproportionate.  Only 15.4% of bow hunters are women, and only 35.6% of archery target shooters are women.  Even though, as stated by Competitive Edge Magazine, women make up 85% of consumer purchases in the USA, rarely can a woman go into an archery dealer and shoot multiple brands of bows – she has to make a purchase based off someone’s opinion, and not necessarily what is best for her.  SLG2’s Test Flights will provide women with an opportunity to try before they buy.  Once they decide which bow is best for them; the ladies will receive a specifications card to take back to their local archery dealer/retailer and order their bow with confidence.
