Fifteen Archery Clubs, Business and Leagues and several individuals participated with a total of 475 archers. "This tournament has had great support across the archery community, says Karen Butler President of Shoot Like a Girl. “The fight to combat cancer took on new meaning to the Shoot Like A Girl family, as we lost my dad, Charles H. Daugherty, Jr, who was our web designer and photographer extraordinaire to cancer early this year. Butler goes on to say, “it was comforting to know that we all can contribute in a small way to fund early detection screenings and research to end this terrible disease. We at Shoot Like A Girl are so proud of all the participants who competed in the tournament." Archers donate $20 to compete; shooting a specially designed target (by Butler’s father). The target is made up of three breast cancer ribbons, that score 10 or 5 points each, but there is a little bonus ribbon in the logo that scores the same. After two years, and some of the best archers in the country shooting this target, no one has shot it clean!
